Kipster is looking for a dedicated, humane, and strong CFO to help shape our young and growing international organization.

We believe in egalitarian leadership, based onshared responsibility and autonomous teams.

As a main member of the executive leadership team, you set cleardirection and will be the trusted sparring partner of the CEO/founder, Ruud Zanders.With your proven leadership experience, you take on the challenge to provideKipster with the fundamental structure to scale up from 7 to 50 farms in theupcoming 5 years.

The challenge

o Creating thestructure (processes, systems), built for growth

o Contribute on aconceptual level to improving business models, scalability, developingfranchise and licensing models for customers and farmers

o Attractinginvestors, fundraising strategy, and keeping a network with (prospective)investors and partners

o Overseeing finance,accounting, investments, and budgets as well as standardizing and optimizingprocesses (construction, farming, controlling)

o Analyzingfinancials and making recommendations

o Preparingsupervisory board and shareholders meetings and developing strong relationshipswith key stakeholders

o Directing thepreparation of all financial statements

o Assisting inacquiring and coordinating international projects, including negotiating keystrategic contracts

Qualifications

o Natural leadership: ability to build and leadteams (finance, ICT, legal, HR)

o Hands-on, self-starting, with humor andhelpfulness

o Skilled in strategic & scenario planning,and developing sound business analytics (dashboards, KPIs)

o Having access to a network of investors, experiencewith fundraising, and arranging working capital facilities

o Preferably experience with fast growing business

o Familiar with franchising formulas and/ orlicensing regulations

o Strong communication and negotiation skills e.g.,explaining complex financial models in an accessible way

o Wants to understand what is happening on thefarms with attention to sustainability and animal welfare

o Sincere motivation to realize the goals ofKipster as well as the newco’s such as VEGGS and Pigster

o Do what it takes, including regularly travelingwithin Europe and the U.S.

o Excellent verbal andwritten communication in English
